Working Scripture :-  1Samuel 28:1-7

In 1 Cor 15:45,

The Bible opens our eyes to something all are missing:

-“What comes first is the natural body, then the spiritual body comes later”.

It’s the truth concerning many Christians who makes choices,steps,decisions.

The spiritual does not come first to many,

Every man’s thinking goes to the wrong life,wrong Choices and their flesh needs.

We tend to choose first the wicked ones, steps,easy ways.

The natural does not allow the spiritual to reign.

It suffocates the spiritual.

Many do not want anything to do with whatever makes them go extra miles.

Today am looking at those who choosed Cain’s lifestyle instead of Abel’s.

-rebellious

-wicked,

-Easy,

-Unrepentant lifestyle.

Let us compare salient truth of the bible.

Which came first beloved,

Spiritual or Natural in these scenarios:

1-Mosses 

Exodus 2:11-12 and Exo 3:10

The first Mosses or the latter Mosses.

Which step is flesh,which is spiritual 

2-Adams two children

Cain, Abel?

Which lifestyle is Spiritual?

3-Abraham children,

Ishmael or Isaac,

Which of them is born by flesh decision?

4-Isaacs children,

Esau and Jacob 

Which one?

Ps 107 says men prefers to live in the valley of death, Endor.

And it’s a place not designed for carrier of grace.

Endor is a place of 7 spirits:-

-distress

-hopelessness 

-blinded heart

-deception

-witchcraft activity 

-Mental torment

-Isolation

Ps 23:4 says though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

He did not say, living in the valley of death.

Meaning problems and challenges come and go, but not to be a permanent thing.

A woman called her husband,and told him,

‘Our house girl is pregnant,

He said,that’s her business,

She said,I heard you are responsible,

He said,THATS MY BUSINESS,

She said,am packing out,

He said,that’s your own business…

It is my business to show and reveal to you the latest tricks of the enemy of the Gospel

It is your business to listen,be watchful and take HEED.

Leviticus 10:1-2 KJV

[1] … And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not. [2] And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD …

Strange fire in Christianity today,

Strange prophets,

Vibrating Pastors and prophetess,

Strange acts,

All in other to deceive men and women.

WHY?

DESPERATION AMONG CHRISTIANS?

Many are eager to cut corners.

Sportsmen who end up in Endor of  ANABOLID STEROID.

-Asafa Powell 

They REIGN,be famous and they end their career in disgrace.

I pray,

You will not end your journey in shame.

JUDGES 16:4…..THE VALLEY OF DEFEAT.

A contradiction to words of the Psalmist.

Ps 121:1 says,

I will lift up my eyes unto the hills,

Where my helps come from.

Samson ends up in the valley of Sorek,

Evil men/women dwells in valleys,

not MOUNTAIN TOP.

Take a look at the witch of ENDOR,

She lives in the Valley also,

Don’t end up in the valley of defeat.

After King Saul visited this witch,

He and all his children died in the battle field.

PRAY:-

I will not end up a laughing stock.

NOW PASTOR,

HOW CAN I KNOW IF I AM ON THE WAY TO ENDOR.?

1-Check your friends,are they real,

Are you meeting to  pray together or Gossip?

King Saul’s  journey to ENDOR did not start one day.

First –

His disobedience (1 Samuel 15:15)

He satisfied the people around him.

He allowed them to take the fat rams,

against Gods commandment.

And the same people show him the way to his downfall

2-Is THAT THING you want is in God’s  interest or your interest! 

3-Anytime the Love of the World is paramount in a man’s life,it’s a sign of derailment

4-When you start to compare yourself with another person.

WHY IS THE SPIRIT OF ENDOR REIGNING AMONG XTIANS:-

1-Many have ‘Itching Ears’

They don’t know how to wait on The Lord ,

Always asking ‘what is God saying on my situation’.

As long as there are men who want to eat poison,

The production of poison will not stop.

Fake prophets will have a continuous field day as long as you cannot ask the Lord to baptize you with the Holy Ghost and His gifts.

2-Disobedience.

Heaven warns many daily,

In dream,vision of the night,messages,

But they don’t listen,they prefers to be ‘Appreciated’.

1Sam 15:3,

The instruction is clear

DESTROY ALL.

What happens later(vs 15)

Is God delighted in your offerings?YES, but,

ONLY IN THOSE OFFERINGS THAT ARE NOT POLLUTED.

3-Avoiding Spiritual works.

At the slightest excuse,you avoid spiritual duties,

Pastor can you fast for me,

Can you do night vigil for me.

 

NEVER,BRETHEN,NEVER,

be contended with your lack Of spiritual powers.

Don’t replace the Zeal to acquire spiritual powers with WORLDLY AND MATERIAL THINGS.

Paul said:-

Ephesians 5:14(NLT )

“Awake thou that sleepeth,

Arise from the dead,and Christ shall give light”

You have the light now,awake,and follow the light.

Clear away all the eggs of laziness in your life.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE WHO ENDS UP IN ENDOR:-

1-Fails woefully(Psalm 37:37-38)

2-Desolation steps in(Psalm 34:21)

3-Shame and Destruction(Psalm 35:4&8)

4-A Reproach(Psalm 79:12,Ezekiel 36:16-19)

5-Humiliation(1Sam 31:8-10)

Saul perished with his 3 children  .

6-REJECTION 

Charismatic in everything.

They  have Charisma BUT the glory has departed.

1Sam 16:5-7(Keeping up appearance)

7-IMITATION SETS IN.

They still believe they have the right garment to be in the presence of  God,but it is an imitated,copied garment.

Matt 22:2-14

A time is coming when the wheat will be separated from the tares,in the name of Jesus.

Am praying for someone,

You will not end up a laughing stock in the name of Jesus.

Am praying for someone,

As The Lord surrounds Zion,May the angels of The Lord encompass your lives in Jesus name.

WHAT TO DO:-

If you don’t want to end up in disgrace,

You too can be better than those you are seeking for help.

You can do it beloved.

Numbers 11:29

Mosses said,”Would God that all the Lords people were prophets?

Eldad and Medad catch the fire,and they too prophecy.

Vs 25,The Lord came down and took from Mosses some of the Spirit of God on him and gave it to the 70 elders  and they prophecied.

1-MOTTO(Daily guidance )

-No bible reading,no breakfast(Job 23:12)

-No Scripture,no sleep.

NOTE:-

Maturity in Christ is not the Passage of Time .

It’s not how long you have been a Christian,

But the results of how you deal with TRIALS you are facing.

-The result of getting closer to Him.

Let heaven supply you with all spiritual gift.

But instead,

Many seeks diviners with their money,

Not knowing that they are writing a KORAH’s letter of defeat(Numbers 16)

3-Have Faith and Contentment.

Your due season is here today.

The earth is full of Gods riches

4-Have “WHY ,WHY, FORMULAR”.

From asking comes reasoning.

Why am I in this situation?

Why did God gave me this child?

Why am I in Sweden?

Why am I married?

WHERE THERE IS A PURPOSE,

THERE IS A FUTURE.

You will not end your lives in Endor.

It’s Soul searching time:

Jonah was sent to Nineveh,

He choosed the easy way,

He chooses TARSHISH .

Where souls are being merchandise.

Lot chooses the plains of Sodom

He ends up loosing his wife and ALL he laboured for.

Don’t merchandise your Glory.

Don’t end up with the witches and wizards of ENDOR

In Jude verse 12,the Scripture speaks about spots in our feasts:
-Stains in our character,
-Blemishes in our lives,
-Unbeffiting characters,
-Your dishonesty,filthiness ,
-vain bravery and vain pride.

Message title:-
Your Identity Is Tied To Your Possession.

Beloved,straight away,
2 questions comes to mind :-
-Who are you in Christ
-Who did men say you are?

This mans story of salvation is an unusual one.
You have to sell all you have and give to the poor and then you are welcome.
It’s unusual.

This story reminds me of Elisha
He too let go.
Elisha let go all his life saving and start from the scratch.

One of our hymns says,
I laid down my life to save you,
What have you done for me…

In Luke 12:15,
Our Lord was teaching on this subject.
He said:-
Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

Furthermore,He gave us the parable of the rich man.
In vs 16-23.

Let us look at the mirror of our lives and see some tags that is identified with our behaviour:-

Fill in the gap beloved:-
If you have:-
-lying spirit,men called you…(Liar)
-you cannot read and write….(Illiterate)
-cannot see(blind)
-no money (Poor)
-you have money(Rich)
-puffed up (Egoistic)

Now let us look at the church,
When you mentioned:-
-Pst Adeboye,(Humility)
-Pst Kumuyi(Holiness)
-Reinhard Bonke,(Healing crusader)
-Pst Olukoya(fire and die)

This is just but a few of your possesion that makes men to identify you.

So,look at your life,
How do men describe you?
-stubborn,
-aggressive,
-liar,
-glutton,

Eccl 1:8
Be often mindful of the saying:
“The eye is not satisfied with seeing nor the ear satisfied with hearing”.

Strive therefore to turn away thy heart from the love of the things that are seen and set it upon those things that are not seen.

Those that follow after their own fleshly lusts defile their conscience and destroy the grace of God.

It is vanities to seek after and trust in those things that perishes.

Dwell upon the life of Jesus.
Imitate Him.
Everyday,Ask yourself so many times this question:
-will Jesus do this i want to do?

Its time to surrender all
You have to let go anything you received from the world.

Vs 30 is saying whatever you give up you get back 100 times.
Now let us move further to building ourselves.
1-Empowerment for example.
You must give up your:-
-sleep
-apetite
-will
-understanding
-ways

When you surrender this,what do i get:
-real understanding of Whom God is.
-easy obedience
-wisdom comes
-Your Words are honoured in heaven
-fire comes
-you know the secret things.
When a man is lying you know.

“With Instructions Comes Distractions”

2-Luke 11:28(Hearing and Keeping)
3-1 John 5:7-15

Beloved,we have just read 2 great verses instructing us about how to live and not break your fellowshipping with God.

What do you see in those verses:-
-enticement
-listen
-don’t be carried away by glamour of this world
-keep Gods commandment
-then you are blessed.

Working Scripture:-
Gen 22:1-8
1 Sam 16:1

Brethen,put this 2 scriptures in your heart,

2 men were called,and given instructions:
-one obeyed fully,
-the other obeyed partially

So,the big question is:-
“why was King Saul rejected”

Last week,
The Lord was showing us how to guide our lives and destiny from loosing its FLAVOUR.(When Salt looses its taste message)

I want to talk today about your self choice and God choice.
The instructions of God in your life is always clear.

Distraction is a terrible disease and a very powerful weapon in the hand of the enemy of our soul.

The devil knows that distracted people cannot commune with their God properly or hear His voice.

To know the level of your faith is to measure how easily you are distracted.

Distraction power turns winners into beggars.
This power demotes the promoted.

Any power,that is pushing you,to make wrong choices,shall be disgraced today.

These are powers that :-
-cut off the wings of an eagle.
-that fast track men from success to failure .
-encourages frustration and discouragement in men.

Any man who cannot fulfilled his or her destiny has come to this world in vain.

So beloved,”How are you going to fully expressed the purpose of why you are here”.

Devil is after xtians,to derail us by all means.
It is now left for you and I to fight back.

Tell your neighbor
“If you hold on to error,
You will find terror”.

From the days of John the Baptist,
the kingdom of Jesus suffereth violence,and is still under the violent attacks.

The sign of a good church,is not how many are worshipping there,
-It is how many lives are changing for the good.
-How many lives are truly submitting themselves to the true Jesus.

KING SAUL AS AN EXAMPLE
1 Sam 15:1-3
Did he hearkened?NO

He makes poor choices when time presented themselves .
Why?
“Because of people”

The instructions was very clear:
Go and wipe out the Amalekites,
Don’t spare anything.
Not even animals.
Did he hearken fully?No.

Half obedience is disobedience.
Many who are paying tithes are not receiving the full benefit,why?
Mal 3:10 says bring ye all the tithes,
Not some,not half.

Do you know the difference between Burglary and Robbery?
-breaking into someone’s property is burglary.
-at gun point,taking something from another is Robbery.

So,if you are not paying tithe,you see what you are doing to your creator.
“You are an Armed robber”.

Many are trusting God to
-bless them
-give them resident permit
-heal them
-make them fruitful,
But they cannot trust Him when it comes to tithe.(Mal 3:9)

So if you are not a tither,you will hate tithe announcement.
If you are not a worshipper,you will hate worship time
Let us go back to King Saul again
-In 1 Sam 13:8-11
He rushed to do the sacrifice,why?
-Bc he said he saw the people scattered from him.

Poor choice again,
Bc of the people

1 Sam 15:14-15,24
-Bc of the people,
-Bc of your friend.
When will you learn?

“With every instructions from heaven comes distractions”

Who are the people you are surrounding yourself with?

Men and women who are there to distract you,and derail you.
-Impatient people,
-Rebellious people
-People who will compel you,
against the Lord.

You must get out of that Unholy alliance today.
Get this word of wisdom and print it in the soul of your heart:-

“Great eagles fly alone,
Great lions hunt alone,
Great souls walk alone”.

Many are there ONLY to ruin you.
“With instructions comes destructions”.

John 6:66
From that time,ANTI CHRIST(666)enter into their midst.

Wherever we have the church of God,
The Synagogue of satan is not far.

Judas Iscariot means Assasin.
Jesus did not made the mistake,
He prayed all night,
But the father said,he (judas) is PART OF THE PACKAGE,

Judas never see power
All he saw was how to fill his pocket.
Look at John 12:4-6

Selfish people never understand generosity.
Carnal mind look at giving as a cost
Extravagant givers never see what they give as a cost.

In that Instructions God have given you,what do you see?
-do you see the Lord,or you see loss.(I.e when you take action,it is a waste)
-profit or loss
-grab opportunities or loose opportunities.

John 7:3
Don’t allow men to influence your decision
Your time may not have come yet,
Love your silence,
Until the day of your showing forth.

Don’t forget you have a father who sees in secret
If you Plan everything in His way,
The world cannot destroy you.
Eccl 9:11
You,yourself know you cannot run far,
Why should you allow Men to think you can run far.
Don’t run BF your time.

Do you know that, you,
Coming in contact with some people initiates
“mystery of iniquities” in your lives.

“With Instructions comes distractions.

What do you think happened to the 3 wise men In Matt chapter 2?
-they,for a short moment digress from the star leading them.

They seek favour in the high places,
i.e the palace.
And They were lost,
to the glamour of the palace.

So ask yourself:
-Where your expectations are,
Are they divine?

Vs 10,of Matt chapter 2 says,
“they were EXCEEDINGLY GLAD when they came in contact with the star”.

I pray,
You will not run yourself to Disaster,in the name of Jesus.

Amos 2:10-16
This is what happens,when you leave God out of your actions.
Remember,the arm of flesh can never help.

There is grace in “ACTION”
-Riches are not for men of Understanding
-Bread is not for the wise
Because you are wise does not mean you will be rich.(Ecll 9:13-15)

So ask yourself tonight:-
What will distinguish you from the rest of the world?
What will show to the world that you are special?

2 THINGS:-

1-ONLY WHEN GOD SHOW YOU,forth.(makes you)
2-ONLY WHEN GOD TEACH YOU,
HIS WAYS.

Gen 28:10:19
Bethel was the place,Jacob met the Lord,
He erected an Altar and dedicated Bethel to the Lord,
And from that day,that’s the acceptable place in Israel.

And now,a king by the name of Jeroboam decided to distract Gods children.

He erected an idol in Bethel,
to worship his gods,
And erected another in Dan,

But note this beloved,
God was not interested in the altars in Dan,
Because nobody handover Dan to Him,
He was only interested in Bethel,
Because it’s a place of Covenant,
between Him and Jacob.

God may be angry with you as you are sitting down now,
Because you yourself is allowing men and women to tamper with the Covenant God had with you.

Look at King David,
He followed the instructions from heaven
He provided huge sums of money to build the Temple,
And he knew he will never worship there for one day.

Can you do that?
Provide for another person even if you will not be appreciated.

Look at John 12:7 again
The woman prepared the body of Christ for burial.
Do you understand?

Let us confirm it from Mark 16:1
He was hurriedly buried and was not Annointed for burial.
But they have forgotten that that happened in John 12:3

” Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

If she had not followed the instructions she received from heaven,and prepared Jesus for the journey ahead,what would have happened?

Look at King Saul again beloved,
Do you noticed that what brought him to the Lord took him away from the Lord.
-Sheep.( 1 Sam 9 & 15)

That’s what is called in plain English:
“Covetousness”
(coveting the fattest ram)
It’s in the blood.

Be careful,not to be distracted from your source of joy.
Be careful not to be driven to and fro with very doctrine of this world.
With every Instruction comes distractions.

Message Title:-

MISUSE OF DIVINE GRACE
Or,
MISUSE OF HEAVENLY GRACE.

This season we are in a season called Easter period.
When the blanket of grace was spread from the Cross to the entire world.

God has redeemed us from the hands of the law.
He made it plain that being born again and crucified to the Cross,
The spirit of the Son that gives liberty to elements of this world is in you.

-Christ in me,the hope of glory.

With this,it is expected of you to be free from all this beggarly elements of this world.
And this is where many believers are missing it.

What are the elements of this world you are turning to again that makes the grace vain?
That’s what we are looking into today.

2 Peter 1:2
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the “KNOWLEDGE” of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

So let us look at the beggarly elements of this world.

They are the 10 commandments of this world:-
-ways of this Worlds
-behaviour
-ideas
-ignorance of the Word
-little Faith in the Word
-not discerning His ways
-easily influenced by bad doctrines
-blindness of this world
-lust of this world
-i don’t cares of this world
The flesh is persecuting the Spirit.

-As long as the heir,born again
-As long as the heir,hope of tomorrow
-As long as the heir,the Elect,

Is still but a child,the spirit of servanthood/slavery makes them bound and not free to exercise their princely role.

That is why our text is talking to us about 2 important thing about grace:
-knowledge of God
-knowledge of Christ.
If you understand these 2,
Grace and peace is yours.

A man who walks in Divine Grace ought to know what he must do or dont.

There is an expectation on you,i.e
Stand still and see the glory of God

A new birth is seen in you by the smelling from your cologne of holiness and faith.
1 Cor 2:14
The natural man can never understand the things of the spirit.

In Daniel Chapter 3,
We read the story of the 3 Hebrews.
That was an example of men who walks in grace.

They have crucified themselves to the cross.
He has promised,
“I will always be with you when you pass through fire.

They are conscious of that.
And when they need Him,
He appeared as the 4th man in the fire with them.

But that was not the most fascinating action they took.
It was their stand.
-if we die,we die.

Daniel 3:17-18 KJV
[17] If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. [18] But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. …

The rest is history.
Am praying for someone today:-
Power to Recognise whom you are in Jesus,envelope you mightily.

On the other side,
Judges 16,
Is the story of Samson.

Samson life shows a man who misuse the grace.
“I will go out as before”
That is their quality.

Doing evil and expecting heaven to be there for them.
You cannot eat your cake and still have it.

Beware of the leaven of the pharisees
Can we continue to live in sin,disobedience and wish the heavenly grace abounds?
Far from it.

Our God is not a God of confusion.
A man can fall from grace simply when the consciousness of sin is no more.

When guilty conscience disappear,
When your conscience is dead,
There is no more grace.

Can you eat your cake and still have it?
You have to release something for to keep Other.

For your salvation and redemption of your soul,Jesus died for you on the Cross.
He released His life to save yours.

Many want to be seen as believers,but they dont want to sacrifice their friendship with the world.

Bring your Isaac to the altar today.
That you loved most,is being asked of you by the Lord.

Sacrifice that lusting,
Sacrifice your illicit affairs,
Sacrifice your love of, parties,Owambes, to His devotion.

When will you provide for your heavenly home?
Jacob asked this strange question that am asking you today?

-Maybe when you are 70,
-Maybe When everthing you are selling is no more valuable.

Beloved,
pumping up the breast will stop one day.
It will not look attractive again to your admirers.

When will you provide for your heavenly home?
-maybe when your skin will go on ‘conkurs’,am saying early pension.
-maybe when you have the 3rd leg.

Am praying for you,
You will not realise when it is too late.

Tell your neighbour,
Time Waits for no man.
What if heaven decides to call you home.
What will you do again when your toes are pointing up.

Alexandra the great asked for his hands to be free out of his coffin to show the world he came to this world with nothing,and he is going home with Notting.

Look at the word of Father Abraham to the rich ruler.
In Luke chapter 16:25

He was telling him:
“Remember”

-when the preacher was speaking to you and you are hating him for speaking the truth.
-remember ,when you decided to join the world instead of hearkning to the Lord.
-remember when heaven anoints you for to save humanity and you are saying it’s not yet time.

Where you are going,
There is no more grace.
Even before you depart,you might have worked yourself out of grace.

You can still redeem your life
Kill that horrible thing called flesh today.
Allow total obedience for heaven to have his way.
And you will now see,what others are running for,will be running after you.

Grace is God in me,the hope of my glory.
Not otherwise.
Not glorifying yourself and saying the grace is there.
