JOHN 666,Point Of Unfollowing Jesus.

MESSAGE TITLE:-

JOHN 6:66.

(UNFOLLOWING JESUS).

Scripture Reading:-

John 6:53-66

Today beloved,

I want to teach on one of the signs of antichrist (666).

And the first step taken toward receiving the sign.

And the step is:

“UNFOLLOWING JESUS”.

There is a prayer I want you to pray,

It’s a prayer against Depression.

Elijah was depressed,

He prayed that God should take his life.

When it reached Jesus time,

He prayed against it.

And that is what you too will pray:

“Get thee behind me satan in this situation am facing.

-when the negative taught comes,

-when all roads seem closed,

-hopelessness shows up,

Rebuke them.

Text:

Proverbs 8:1-36.

Here we were given 3 spirit of the Lord that leaders have to possessed to be great.

Our Lord established them even before “ let there be….. in Gen 1.

They are:

Proverbs 8:14-15

-sound Counseling,

-sound Wisdom,

-sound Understanding.

All these are inside the Holy Spirit.

That’s why when the time came for Him to exit this world, He said He will ask the Father to send the Holy Spirit to us.

Who is the Holy Spirit?

What is He to us beloved?

Without Him,do we have a chance?

With Him,is there anything we cannot conquer?

If I have the Holy Spirit,why is  the sin of Ommision working against me?

There are salient questions to be answered:-

-Who is your friend?

-Whose reflection are you?

If you are a friend of pigs,

You will soon learn how to eat feaces.

What is the quality of a father?

How do you see your earthly father and your Heavenly Father?

You must think deep today,

because one day,Proverbs 18:1 will come.

Proverbs 18:1 KJV:

“Through desire a man, having separated himself, ( from what? Holy Spirit) seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.

It’s a deep verse.

Before, you always allowed the Holy Spirit to lead you, now, it’s men, your desire, that is leading you.

Beloveth,

When you are led by opportunity,

And not WISDOM,

that opportunity will cease you.

Have you come across Isaiah 26:3 that says He will keep anyone in perfect peace but on one condition:

-whose thoughts are fixed on God,who trusted Him.

GOD says wisdom is primary and fundamental,

It is the foundation on which all life is built.

The first two twins born into this world are rivals,

We called them Cain and Abel?

But they are supposed to be called WISDOM AND FOOLISHNESS.

Example of those led by mentors:

1)Samuel and Eli:

In 1Samuel 3:1-7,

Samuel was “GREEN”.

He was young in spirit,inexperienced.

But thank God,there was a man with wisdom and experience as seen in the next verses 8-9.

2)Elijah and Elisha:

2Kings 2.

Elijah anoints Elisha,

-he trained him,

-he teached him,

-and blessed him with double annointing.

But there at the same place,

Were 50 sons of the prophets,(LOVERS OF TITLES)

who have ungodly,selfish,my belly only fathers,

they are in the midst of what God is blessing and they are not blessed.

PRAY:

My Father,put me in the midst of those things you are blessing,in the name of Jesus.

Joseph the carpenter and Jesus:

Jesus was raised by his earthly father,

He did dirty jobs,repairing roofs,smelly chairs etc.

He was tutored by Joseph for 30 years.

Sanctified for 40 days by the Holy Spirit,

Before He starts His earthly ministry.

Annointing cannot replace Experience.

Being Gifted cannot replace Experience

On the contrary,

Judas has no Father figure.

That was why betrayal and greed overcame him.

Another case study in another dimension is Gehazi,the servant of Elisha,

Although he had someone he is following,

But his heart was not dedicated to him.

That person you are looking upon as a father,

Either at work,in your personal life,or spiritual life,

ARE YOU FAITHFUL TO HIM?

A tree cannot make a forest,

You need someone in life to show you the way,

And you  need the Holy Ghost to lead your spiritual life.

You cannot survive without them.

Picture Elijah,IKings 17:5.

At the brook of Cherith,

Eating and drinking Angels food,

Actually,the HIDDEN MANNA was brought to him(REVELATION 2:17)

And suddenly,there came a voice,

The same voice leading him always,

Saying,arise,take your things,and go to Zarepath,

I have prepared a widow for you,

To take care of you.

It is the same voice that speaks to Joseph (MATT 2:13)

“Arise,take the young child,and flee into Egypt,

Until I bring thee word.

He did not question the Holy Spirit,

If it were you,

What will you do?

You will first ban and cast out the Holy voice.

Then questions will flare up:

-Why should i leave certainty for uncertainty?

-This God self is wicked oh?

Elijah did not know that the river was about to dry.

Am not talking about rivers now,

Am talking about:-

-Drying brook of Popularity,

-Drying brook of Health,

-Drying brook of  Finance,

That’s why he needs to be moved,

And you too needed to be moved.

Your mentor has experience you cannot buy with money.

What am saying is:

No Holy Spirit,no Fuel.

Experience is knowing your future,

Through the leadership of someone,

Either human or Holy Spirit.

JOHN 5:19

JESUS CHRIST SAID,I ONLY DO WHAT I SEE MY  HEAVENLY FATHER DOETH.

Meaning He saw the Father heals someone,

in the Spirit,He jumps,touch the same person,and declares,you are healed.

1 John 2:18-19

He speaks expressly on the spirit of antichrist.

Hear Him:

“1 John 2:18-19 NLT – Dear children, the last hour is here. You have heard that the Antichrist is coming, and already many such antichrists have appeared. From this we know that the last hour has come.

19 These people left our churches, but they never really belonged with us; otherwise they would have stayed with us. When they left, it proved that they did not belong with us.

Unfollowing Jesus,why?

Why do some unfollow Jesus?

Because of:

-love of this world,

-lust of this world,

-pride of this world,

That has taken away their first love.

And many who because of this evil love became the dew.

Look at the dew,

Fresh in the morning,

But when the sun shines,

It dries up.

Antichrist spirit will not celebrate you,in the name of Jesus.

ECLESIASTES 6:1-2 lamented about this evil.

“There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it is common among men:

2-A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease.⁠

Hardworking and nothing to show.

Profitless labouring abounds among Christians,why?

Because the devourer knows how to work,

And claim the riches of the ignorant.

Avoid leaning on ur ambitions.

AMBITION DOES NOT KNOW A FATHER.

Talking about ambition,

Remember Absalom,

How he wanted to overthrow his father.

Instead of allowing himself to be patiently groomed for the post.

He took ambition by force.

Remember today,

when problem comes,

You will be left alone.

The prodigal son allowed Self to rule him

He collected his inheritance before it was due.

What have you collected from Jesus and you just kept it there,not using it?

Luke 23:34b,

“And they parted his raiment, and cast lots”.

O yes His  raiment  have finally been entrusted on you,

Either counterfeit or genuine,

But the question is still there:

“Are you using it,

Or has it become an handkerchief in your pocket?

-The pastoral rainment?

-The prophetic rainment?

-Apostolic rainment?

-Evangelist rainment?

-Teaching garments?

What are you doing with it?

You are called to carry this heavenly torch with Him.

If you don’t,you have already received the mark of 666.

(John 6:66)”Unfollowing Jesus”

God vowed,

if you don’t do what He called you to do,

He will give the talent to another.

Isaiah 22:19-22 KJV  confirmed it.

“And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down.

20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:

21 And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.

22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

FEAR MAKES YOU WEAK,

BUT, YOU MUST OVERCOME FEAR TO BE ABLE TO MAKE YOUR OWN IMPACT.

Nothing is small,

Don’t give up.

Look at the life of Prophet Obadiah,

While others are writing big big chapters,

He wrote 21 verses,

And was recognized in heaven.

RUTH, a gentile,

Her name entered the book of life,

Because she had a mother with a vision,in Naomi,

And was recognized in heaven.

If you don’t know what or how to go,

Turn to The Glory of Israel,

He want you to walk in the glory Imparted  to Enoch,

He is a Father, who gives wisdom and humility.

Thank God we have a Father,

Who is always there for you and me.

Pray this prayers:

1) Powers that want to kill me gloriously, you shall die in my place.

2)authorities of darkness that have gathered to disgrace me be shaken off.

3)Fresh oil from heaven bombard my head.

4)Every arrow of iniquity fired into my soul, go back to your sender.

5)Whatever I need to loose to see your face, am ready, I need your visitation,visit me

6)every unmarketable situations am carrying around, depart from me.

7)My movement shall not become a monument,in the name of Jesus.
