SUNDAY SERMON APRIL 2,2017

Message Title:-
DO NOT GO BACK TO EGYPT.

Today, by God’s grace,
We are looking into your New year resolutions.

Have you forgotten,
That today is the first Sunday in the 4th month.
You have to do a simple Evaluation.
Take stock of your life.

The bible encouraged us not to go the way of the world.
There is a day of taking closer look at your life and see if you are in tune or not.

Our God take stocks of events also.
Job chapter 1 :6 says,
[6] Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord , and Satan came also among them.

It is a dangerous thing when we sing :-
“Count your blessings name them one-by-one”,
And we are not doing so.

Jeremiah 42 :1-17.

Dealing with yourself-
Taking stock of your life in this 1st quarter.
Jer 14:10 says we loved to wander,and refrained not our feet.

-wandering from your plan
-being distracted by the fake elements of this world.
-allowing the unprofitable to attract you.

You may be your own enemy,
Until you realise this,
things may not move.

Galatians 6:1
(OVERTAKEN BY THEIR WEAKNESS).

YOUR NEW YEAR RESOLUTION –
Do you still remember?
Can you remmember them?

Conduct allowed is conduct approved,
The conduct you allowed is what you condoned.

That’s why one proverb says:-
Birds of the same feather fly together.
Negative conduct you allowed overpowers you.

What is your own?
Let us take Cursing for example,
Your own “New Year Resolution” is to stop cursing.

You don’t know when you begin it again,
That third finger in the air,
(fuck you sign)
And we have only finished the 3rd month.

We are breeding a generation that does not keep Values.
That Crossover night is an ALTAR NIGHT.

You invited heaven to come down,
Exchange takes place.
-take my ashes,
-I accept the beauties of heaven.

The beauties are waiting for your own condition to be released.
But,but,you are still clinging to the ashes.
How will exchange happens?
In Gen 28:21-22,
Jacob was telling his people about his vows to The Lord and how it is ‘important’ to remmember them.

Your Personal vow or covenant-
I have decided,to follow Jesus,no turning back.
Am going to serve Him.

WHERE ARE YOU STANDING IN THAT NEW YEAR RESOLUTION?
1Cor 10:12-13
“He who think he stands,take heed,lest he fall”.

Everybody that falls,
falls into the same thing.

Your uniqueness is in your mind.
“Am being tempted”,
Tell your neighbor,
-In every temptation their is always a way out.

But:-
FLESH IS WILLING TO GO BACK TO EGYPT.

Weakness you don’t deal with now will deal with you sooner or later.
It smells

Have you noticed,
That bad news spread faster than good news.
Bad things smells faster.

Every year,
Many makes NEW YEAR promises,
-I will not drink,
-I will not hang around with bad friends.
-I will serve God with all my heart.

3 months have passed,
-are you making progress or otherwise?
-Is flesh taking over gradually?

Apostle Paul cried out loudly:-
Romans 7:24-
“who shall deliver me from the hand of Flesh”.

ROMANS 15:1
Those of you who are strong MUST be able to help those who are down.

God is not a Communist,
Some run with lots of people,
Some can run with the little.

NEW ARRIVALS HOLINESS MINISTRIES is not interested in your guilt offering,
We are interested in the manifestation of the WORD OF GOD,in your life.

So,if you are here today,
with the sole aim of Buying God with your offering,
and no change in your heart,

I declare this unto you,
IT IS A FUTILE EFFORT.

PSALM 40:6&8
Blessing of God that add no sorrow to it can only be achieved through PURE OBEDIENCE.

Exodus 34:12
[12] Take heed to thyself,
lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a SNARE in the midst of thee:
Friendship of the world is the enemy of God.
Take heed ,who you hang around with,
He or she may be a snare to your RESOLUTION.

Gal 6:1
Many does not plan to fail or fall,
They don’t plan for it,they get OVERTAKEN.

Those who are Spiritual,help others.
Counsel your friends in the weakness they are battling with.
Counsel your neighbor on that thing you noticed they are struggling with.

Help others to Get rid of hindrances like :-
-human ability,
-self righteousness,
-confidence in flesh,
-trying to produce your own after your own righteousness.
